Our Story

Hey y'all!

My name is Tamran Thigpun. I am so glad you stopped by the website and my story page. Take a seat and learn more about me and my company.

It all started when I went shopping at an all natural shop here in my home town of Memphis, TN. I fell in love with the products and wanted nothing more than to learn this myself. I had been a stay home mom, that home schooled, for 18 years and I wanted to find myself. I am crafty and thought this will be fun! I was a regular customer for some time. Then someone opened another store front that was the same type. I walked in and asked for a job and a couple months later I was on the schedule. I WAS SO HAPPY! I was also nervous and scared. After working for a couple of years and learning what I was so excited to learn I just knew I would want my own business one day. 

I had to quit my job in February 2020 to help my grandmother (Ophelia Ann) on her heart journey. Lots of testing and surgery needed to be done. Fast forward and she had her surgery and it went well but her body was tired and kept getting sick. All in the hospital in the middle of a pandemic. She told me she loved me everyday and then on July 9, 2020 I held her hand as she went to heaven. She joined her twin sons there and one of them, Wally, is where the name of my business comes from.

Wally was a crazy, Pink Floyd loving man. People called him Joker. So one day I was thinking about how I would love to have my own business and Joker Suds came to mind and it was born! I miss my grandmother and my uncle more than anything. ALL of this is for them. So I hope that you love my products as much as I love making them and having fun with them.

Here we are in 2024 and so much as changed! My grandfather joined my grandmother a year and half after her death. My father in law passed and so did many other people. I was on a grief journey to say the least. The company now has a new name and so many new things to go along with my soap. Through lots of therapy I found my passion for life again. This meant my business needed a change too. Joker was always going to be a part of my business name. After lots of searching and talking and comparing we named the new store The Creative Joker.

I continue to supply wonderful body and home items. But I also now have some fun, beautiful and amazing beaded items to offer. Here directly on the website and live on TikTok. What else is there you may ask?! Well I also do surprise jewelry reveals! Live reveals are what grabbed at my heart and started the passion streak. So be sure to check me out over there.
